In attempt to run our swim meets efficiently and on-time, we have an electronic timing system for our swim meets.  When the official starts a race all stop watches will be automatically started at the same time.  There will still be timers at the end of the race to stop the watches when the swimmer touches the wall.  After the race is complete, all times for each swim lane will automatically be transferred to the computer running the swim meet.  This will greatly reduce the time and errors that occur when transferring information from one person to another.
