Essential guidelines, responsibilities, and resources for BWBC team captains.
⭐ Captain Responsibilities
- Team Roster Management: Ensure all players are active BWBC members in good standing and properly registered on ALTA/USTA rosters.
- Match Scheduling: Coordinate home match lineups, court reservations via CourtReserve, and communication with visiting team captains.
- Score Reporting: Report match results online through the official league portal within the required timeframe.
- Sportsmanship: Model and uphold high standards of sportsmanship, hospitality, and welcoming etiquette for all visiting teams.
🎾 Match Day Logistics
- Court Preparation: Verify courts are clean, lines are brushed (for clay), and water/ice provisions are accessible.
- Match Balls: Provide fresh, approved league tennis balls for home matches.
- Inclement Weather: Monitor weather conditions and communicate cancellations or postponements promptly with opposing captains.
